AKTAKOM AM-3085 and AM-3083 models provide high-speed measurement processing and allow testing of windings at test voltage from 500 V to 5000 V with 100 V resolution (AM-3085) or from 300 V to 3000 V with a resolution of 50 V (AM-3083).

These testers are equipped with a user-friendly control panel which includes the key to move the cursor, to call up the work display, measurement and system menus, to enter and edit numerical values and file names. Convenient multifunctional menu on the right side of the screen is one of the special features of this device used to control the available parameters in different operating modes.

During testing the testers compare the test result with a reference form in one of four ways:

• Comparison by area size (AREA SIZE)
• Comparison by difference of areas (DIFFERENTIAL AREA)
• Comparison of corona discharge (CORONA DISCHARGE)
• Comparison by difference of phases (PHASE DIFFERNTIAL)

and then display it as an impulse response current waveform in voltage, time, and frequency modes.

• LCD display: 320x240 dots
• Waveform display area: 240x200 dots
• Input impedance: 10 MΩ
• Measuring speed:
  - 5.5 measurements/sec. (Waveform display is off)
  - 3.3 measurements/sec. (Waveform display is on)
