ATT-6000 tachometer measuring procedure

Apply a reflective tape mark to the object being measured. The non-reflective area must always be greater than the reflective area. If the shaft is normally reflective, it must be covered with black tape or black paint before attaching reflective tape. Shaft surface must be clean and smooth before applying reflective tape.

Press Measuring button and point the light beam at the applied target.

Check the results on the display, which will light when the results get stabilized.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What should I do if RPM is low when operating AKTAKOM ATT-6000 tachometer?

  • What should I do if RPM is low when operating AKTAKOM ATT-6000 tachometer?
When making low RPM measurements attach several reflecting tape marks evenly. This will improve resolution and sampling time. Divide the reading shown on the display by the number of reflecting tape marks in order to get the correct measuring results.
